In July 2008, Jos. Hansen successfully supplied an EUR 1.1 Mio. offer for the supply of new water pumps to the local contractor Unipumps who won the pump supply project for North Nigerian’s capitol Kaduna, financed by the World Bank.
In October 2008, a first order was placed for 14 KSB pumps with a flow rate up to 1.720 m³/h and WEG Brazil motors with power ratings up to 450 kW. Deliveries were completed end of June 2009 and a further order for the supply of intake pumps was currently received. Additional orders for other pumps needed in this project are still expected.
